CalRover Overview

IndySoft's CalRover is a mobile calibration application targeted at Android and iOS for performing calibrations on a mobile device. The application is designed to let technicians perform calibrations in any environment where a tablet is viable — both offline and online.

CalRover achieves this by downloading only the data a technician needs to perform their assigned calibration work, based on IndySoft work order assignments. Once the calibration data is on the device, a technician can record calibration results, view calibration procedure documentation, choose from available standards, and print calibration stickers on-site. As online connectivity allows, data is automatically uploaded to the main IndySoft database, calibration certificates are generated, and the necessary schedules are updated. The cycle repeats as technicians are assigned more equipment due for calibration from the main IndySoft application.

tip

Need 100% of the IndySoft client functionality on a mobile device? See the Field Service edition of the IndySoft client. It runs on Windows-based mobile devices and offers more options for in-depth use, including serving very large amounts of data.
