Requirements and Supported Hardware

IndyGo is compatible with iOS and Android devices.

General requirements​

  • An IndySoft MSSQL Database and Front-End Client with version 13.1 or later (for configuration)
  • The IndySoft REST Server with connection to the IndySoft CRM for licensing purposes (https://portalcrm.indysoft.com)
  • A connection from any registered device to that IndySoft REST Server (HTTPS required)
  • Android or iOS devices with the IndyGo application installed
  • IndyGo licenses (registration is per device)
  • An IndyGo Environment Number populated in System-Wide Preferences (provided when you purchase licenses)
  • A valid IndySoft login for the desired database

Android​

  • CPU speed: Quad core 1.2 GHz
  • RAM: 2 GB
  • Internal storage: 16 GB (32 GB recommended)
  • OS version: Android 8 or higher
  • Wi-Fi connection
  • Bluetooth (if using the Chainway R6 reader)
  • Tablet size: > 7 inches
  • Phone size: > 5 inches

iOS​

  • CPU speed: Quad core 1.2 GHz
  • Internal storage: 16 GB
  • OS version: iOS 9.0 or higher
  • Wi-Fi connection
  • Bluetooth (if using the Zebra 8500 or CS4070)
  • Tablet size: > 7 inches
  • Phone size: > 5 inches

External hardware supported​

  • Chainway C72 — handheld all-in-one mobile computer; UHF and barcode scanner (direct connection)
  • Chainway C66 — handheld all-in-one mobile computer; UHF and/or barcode scanner (direct connection)
  • Chainway R6 — handheld RFID/barcode sled (Android BLE)
  • Zebra MC3330xR / MC3390xR — handheld RFID/barcode scanner (direct connection)
  • Zebra 8500 — handheld RFID/barcode scanner (iOS Bluetooth)
