Registration and Logging In

Once your licenses are purchased, the connection fields are filled in, and the REST service is running, registering your device and logging in is straightforward.

Install the IndyGo application from the Play Store, the Apple Store, or directly from IndySoft. Once installed, enter your REST server URL and log in as a system administrator.

note

You don't need to enter https:// or /IndyData at the end of the URL. To use HTTP instead of HTTPS, you must explicitly specify http:// before the URL or IP.

If the device hasn't been registered yet, the administrator is asked to register it. On answering Yes, the administrator is prompted to enter a friendly name to help you and IndySoft staff identify the device. Once the name is entered, the device is registered and the user continues.

If a user can't log in, confirm in Profile Manager that their profile isn't blocked from accessing the REST API.
