Maintenance release with new features for order signatures, procedure search, and dual tolerancing — plus performance improvements to TechSync, Pending Work, and location searching.

New Features​

  • Order Signatures — Auto-Prompt Configuration — System Admins can now configure criteria to automatically prompt users to collect order signatures, enabling consistent capture without manual steps. Watch video →

  • Left Task Bar — Option to Hide Reports Tab — A new option allows the Reports tab on the left task bar to be hidden, giving admins control over which navigation options are visible to users. Watch video →

  • Service Agreements — Batch WO Create Company Name in Description — The company name is now included in the description when creating Work Orders in bulk from Service Agreements. Watch video →

  • Display Scaling — Default to 100% — A new option allows the default project display scaling to be set to 100% instead of 125%, improving usability on standard resolution screens. Watch video →

  • Advanced Procedure Search — Launch from Calibration Procedure Dropdown — A new option to launch the Advanced Procedure Search directly from the Calibration Procedure dropdown is now available in both new and legacy event layouts. Watch video →

  • Advanced Procedure Search — Filter by Procedure Category — The Advanced Procedure Search now supports filtering by Procedure Category for faster lookup. Watch video →

  • Work Order Contacts — Edit After Adding — Contact information on a Work Order can now be edited after it has already been added to the order. Watch video →

  • Almemo Logger — Support for Almemo 104 — The Almemo Logger utility now works with the Almemo 104 device. Watch video →

  • Order System Charges — Employee Association in New Discount Mode — A new Charge Discount Method now allows an Employee to be associated with charges when using the new discount mode in the Order System. Watch video →

  • Certificate Numbers — Support Up to 50 Characters — IndySoft now supports certificate numbers up to 50 characters in length, accommodating longer numbering schemes. Watch video →

Improvements​

  • Dual Tolerancing — Default Test Points and Event System — Dual tolerancing calculations now trigger correctly on the Default Test Points tab and in the Event System for both simple and advanced tolerancing scenarios. Watch video →

  • Set Types — Validation on Deletion or Modification — Add/Edit Set Types is now validated against equipment records when a set type is deleted or modified, preventing orphaned data. Watch video →

  • EventFinder — Translatable Column Headers — Column headers in EventFinder are now translatable, supporting multilingual deployments. Watch video →

  • Estimated Work — Charge Association on WO Creation — Improvements to scheduled work creation ensure charges are correctly associated when creating a Work Order from an Estimate that includes charge associations. Watch video →

  • Pending Work — Work Order Items Performance — Performance improvements have been made to the Work Order Items view in Pending Work, reducing load times for large datasets. Watch video →

  • Add/Edit Employee — Order System Contact Validation — Add/Edit Employee now validates against Order System contacts, preventing duplicate or mismatched records. Watch video →

  • Add/Edit Dialogs — Resizable for Smaller Screens — The Vendor, Service Repair Parts, Parent Billing Company, and Bin Add/Edit dialogs are now resizable to accommodate smaller screen sizes. Watch video →

  • IndyAlarm — Now Includes IndySoftSync Operations — IndyAlarm now contains IndySoftSync operations, consolidating sync management. Watch video →

  • TechSync — Efficiency Improvements for Starter Database Creation — File logging during TechSync starter database creation has been optimized for better performance. Watch video →

Bug Fixes​

  • Scripting — Send Email Functions Not Pulling Custom Fields 5–10 — Send Email scripting functions were not retrieving Event Custom Fields 5 through 10. This has been corrected. Watch video →

  • Email — Intermittent Failures When Sending — An issue causing intermittent failures when sending email from IndySoft has been resolved. Watch video →

  • Multi-Monitor — Right Panel Extends Past Screen Boundary — The right-side panel in Equipment and Order System tabs was extending past the visible left boundary when switching between monitors of different sizes. This has been fixed. Watch video →

  • Charge Templates — Not Pulling Charges in Non-Referential Mode — Associating a Charge Template on the Charges tab of a template was not pulling in charges when referential charges was disabled. This has been corrected. Watch video →

  • Schedule Groups — Parentheses Causing Login Failure — Schedule Groups containing parentheses in their names were preventing users from accessing the system. This has been resolved. Watch video →

  • Export/Import — Closed Dataset Error — A closed dataset error in the Export/Import module has been resolved. Watch video →

  • New Company — Application Error When Defaulting to Wrong Tab — Creating a new company and defaulting to an incorrect tab was causing an application error. This has been fixed. Watch video →

  • Invoicing — Discount Fields Not Populating at Invoice Level — The new charge discount fields were not populating when invoicing a Work Order using the new discount method. This has been resolved. Watch video →

  • Location Filter — Performance Improvements for Location Tree Levels — Searching by Location Tree levels in the Filterbox has been significantly improved for speed. Watch video →

  • Branch Manager — Access Violations with Vendor POs — Access violation errors when interacting with Vendor POs in Branch Manager have been resolved. Watch video →

  • Service Agreements — Save Error When Editing Multiple Charges — Editing more than one charge within the same Service Agreement could cause a save error. This has been fixed. Watch video →

  • Profile Manager — Clone Settings Option Missing — The option to clone settings from another user, location, or profile was no longer available in Profile Manager. It has been restored. Watch video →

  • Taxonomy — Export File Not Downloading in Cloud — Exporting the Taxonomy import file example from Taxonomy Manager was not triggering a download in cloud environments. This has been resolved. Watch video →

  • Firebird Databases — Upgrade Errors from v13 to 14.2 — Upgrading Firebird databases from version 13 to 14.2 was throwing consistent upgrade errors. This has been fixed. Watch video →

  • Scripting — SetEventFieldText Not Updating Checkbox Fields — The SetEventFieldText scripting function was not updating fields configured as checkboxes. This has been corrected. Watch video →

  • Taxonomy — Capability Change Causing Application Error — Changing a taxonomy capability was causing an application error. This has been resolved. Watch video →

  • Uncertainty Budgets — Superfluous Association Message — An unnecessary message was appearing in Uncertainty Budget Associations in 14.2.1 only. This has been removed. Watch video →
