Preferences

Preferences allow configuration on three different levels. Find them on the home screen under the Options tab.

Levels

By Company

Four tabs of information let you customize how information associated with the company is presented. These settings are per-company.

By User/Location

Many settings/preferences in IndySoft are stored and recalled specific to the current user logged in plus their location. The user + location combination for the current login is shown in the top header on the Dashboard main screen — pressing the hyperlink (showing the current location, e.g. DEFAULT) takes you there.

There's also a small image to the right that launches the User/Location Settings dialog so you can modify settings (if your user-profile security allows).

System-Wide

Certain settings are system-wide — not specific to a particular login user or company. These are modified in the System Preferences dialog, launched from the Home View's Preferences → System-Wide hyperlink.
